No Glendale Office

Two real options, neither of them invented.

I do not have a room in Glendale and I am not going to pretend otherwise. What exists is one office at 65 N Raymond Ave in Pasadena, and secure video that reaches anywhere in California. Most of my Glendale clients pick video for the standing weekly slot and come in person when something warrants the room.

The Working Week

Competent at work, unraveling at home.

Glendale runs on people who are extremely good at their jobs. Studios, post houses, hospitals, insurance towers, family businesses that have been on the same block for three generations. The version of you that shows up to all of that is capable, unbothered and reliable, and it costs something to maintain.

What I hear most often from here is not a crisis. It is a slow decline in tolerance. Shorter fuse at home. No interest in the things that used to be restorative. A sense that you are performing a person rather than being one. That is worth taking seriously well before it turns into something louder.

A fair amount of it traces back further than the job. Family systems where your role was decided early and never renegotiated tend to produce adults who overfunction and call it personality.

What We Would Do

Not just talking about your week.

Depending on what you bring, the work draws on EMDR, parts work, psychodynamic thinking and somatic attention. I do not run one protocol at everyone. If your schedule makes weekly therapy unreliable, EMDR intensives are $2,300 and compress the work into a 60-minute intake plus three 3-hour sessions.

Ordinary sessions are $225 for 50 minutes, in person or on video. Out of network, with superbills available. The first conversation is a free 10-minute call and costs you nothing but the awkwardness of dialing.

Adults and teens, LGBTQ+ affirming. I do not treat severe mental illness or psychotic disorders. In a crisis, call or text 988, call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.
