Straight facts, briefly.
An emotional support animal assessment is a clinical evaluation of whether an animal provides therapeutic benefit related to a mental health condition. It is conducted the way any clinical evaluation is conducted, and the result follows from the findings.
There are a lot of websites that will sell you a letter in ten minutes. That is not what happens here, and letters produced that way are frequently rejected anyway.
What to Expect
Before You Book
- An ESA assessment is a clinical evaluation, not a purchase. The outcome depends on what the evaluation finds.
- I cannot tell you in advance whether documentation will be issued, and I will not.
- The evaluation covers your history, current symptoms, functioning, and the specific role the animal plays.
- Available to people located in California, in person in Pasadena or by secure video.
- If the assessment does not support documentation, I will explain why and discuss what would.
