Video across the city, in person only in Pasadena.
I have no Los Angeles office. Sessions happen over secure video, which for an ADHD brain is often the deciding factor. Time blindness and a crosstown drive are a famously bad combination, and there is no clinical value in you arriving at minute nineteen, sweating and apologizing.
The Local Version
A city that rewards the parts of ADHD that look good.
Los Angeles has enormous tolerance for the charming, improvisational, six-projects-at-once version of an ADHD brain. Ideas people do well here. What the city does not forgive is the admin: the parking permit, the renewal, the invoice you meant to send in April, the drive across town that you agreed to when it felt theoretical.
So many women arrive functioning impressively on the outside and quietly running a second full-time job internally, one that consists entirely of compensating. That second job is invisible, unpaid, and the reason you are exhausted in a way sleep does not fix.
- You say yes to things across the city and dread them the moment they become real.
- You lose whole afternoons to a task you could have done in twenty minutes.
- You have been described as flaky by people who have no idea what it costs you to show up.
- The diagnosis explained everything and then made you unexpectedly furious.
What We Work On
The grief, then the logistics.
Most late-diagnosed women need somewhere to put the anger and the mourning before any strategy will stick. We do that first. Then we look at masking, at rest you do not think you have earned, and at the specific supports that suit your brain rather than a productivity influencer's.
I do not prescribe and I do not conduct assessments. I handle the emotional and relational side, and I coordinate with your prescriber when it helps.
