I do not have a Burbank office.
Burbank clients see me over secure video. The in-person option is my Pasadena office, roughly twenty minutes east depending on how the 134 is feeling about itself. Some people do a mix, and nothing about EMDR requires you to pick one format forever.
What EMDR Actually Is
Less mysterious than the name suggests.
Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing gives your brain a second pass at material it stored badly under pressure. You hold a memory in mind while doing something bilateral, usually following a point on the screen or tapping side to side. Nothing gets deleted. The volume tends to come down, so the memory becomes something you can look at rather than something that grabs you.
I will not tell you how many sessions that takes. Anyone who does is selling something.
Scheduling in a Production Town
Call times, hiatus, and the intensive option.
Burbank runs on schedules other people set. A call time moves and your whole week reshuffles. That is a genuinely hostile environment for weekly therapy, and pretending otherwise helps nobody.
Two things help. First, video, because a session you can take from a parked car in a lot beats a session you cancel. Second, intensives. One 60-minute intake plus three 3-hour sessions, $2,300, often booked into a hiatus or the gap between two jobs, when your time is briefly your own again.

How we keep this safe rather than dramatic.
Stabilization comes before reprocessing, every time. You leave each session closed down on purpose, not cracked open and waved off. If you have a wrap party or a network call two hours later, tell me and we plan the session around it.
You are also not required to narrate the story in detail. Noticing and briefly reporting is enough, which is a relief for people who have spent years being asked to explain themselves persuasively.

Fees, license, and the first step.
EMDR is $225 for 50 minutes. Intensives are $2,300. I am out of network and provide superbills for possible reimbursement, and no sliding scale is published. First contact is a free 10-minute call.
